If you want to give a domain name that you have created a product, the best solution is to find your domain name first and name your product after it using these brainstorming tips:

1) You can research keyword related to your product or service by using these services to see what people are searching for:

  1. - inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
  2. - adwords.google.com/select/tools.html
  3. - wordtracker.com

2) You have to give a shorter a domain name which is the easier it is to remember. It will be more benefit to give a single word name to your product or service that suit to your customer to find. For example the word "cheap" implies you will save money which is a major benefit. You may take the help of thesaurus dictionary to get synonyms for your words and phrases.

3) Make sure that your researched words are short and easy to spell for your domain name then you can go for mix and matching the words. The word should be easy to pronounce.

When you want to describe your sales pulling domain name, you should give focused to these following ten tips:

1) Try to avoid using trade marked names which is unethical and could land you in an expensive legal battle.

2) You should not be biased with different spellings in other countries such as color and colour, humor and humour.

3) Try to avoid unnecessary words and keep it simple as much as possible. You're more likely to search for "cheap garden tools" rather than searching for "low cost high quality garden utensils".

4) You should avoid using forgettable numbers.

5) The word like 'the' or the letter 'a' should be avoided in the starting name of a domain.

6) You should avoid using domain names where the end of one word and the beginning of the next are vowels. You can use a hyphen (dash) to separate words.

7) In the US a .com domain name will be noticed far quicker than any other domain name. Perhaps because .com is the oldest extension and therefore the most associated with reputable websites.

On the other hand local domain names will get the attention of local surfers. For example, if you live in the United Kingdom, mydomain.co.uk will get your attention far quicker than mydomain.com because you know it is a UK specific domain name and probably more relevant.

8) Although a long domain name with dashes is easier to read but people still tend to type a domain name into their browser without dashes. Sometimes the dashes will make more annoying to type into a browser. For example, they will type mywebsite.com instead of my-website.com. It will give you much benefit if have the domain name with dashes while you tend to optimize your website for the search engines. It helps the search engines to understand easily.

9) Make sure that there should not be any spaces and symbols in the domain names but only can contain letters, numbers, and dashes. Don't worry about upper and lower case characters as domain names are not case sensitive.

10) Although thousands of domains expire every day and many of them are not taken up again but it is not true that most of the short domain names have been taken. You will find lot of websites dealing in deleted domains if type the phrase "deleted domains" into any search engine.
